Director of Procurement and Technology Transformation

Ardagh Glass Ltd. is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the transformation of its Information and Communication Technology (ICT) procurement function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to drive cost savings and improve efficiency in ICT procurement.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to align procurement activity with business objectives and drive digital transformation.
  • Manage a team of ICT procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of procurement initiatives.
  • Oversee the creation, negotiation, and management of contracts for ICT products and services, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and mentor team members to develop their skills and expertise in ICT procurement.
  • Analyze spend data to identify cost reduction opportunities and develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with ICT procurement.
  • Ensure business continuity by securing critical ICT supplies and services.
  • Work closely with ICT, finance, legal, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for procurement initiatives.
  • Communicate procurement strategies and policies to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Act as a point of contact for procurement-related inquiries and issues.
