We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Procurement, Information and Communication Technology to lead the transformation of our ICT function and drive sustainable competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement exemplar procurement strategies for the ICT function, aligned to the wider Ardagh and ICT strategy.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to align procurement activity with business objectives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and manage supplier performance issues.
- Oversee the creation, negotiation, and management of contracts for ICT products and services.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of ICT procurement professionals.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
- Analyze spend data to identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with ICT procurement.
- Ensure business continuity by securing critical ICT supplies and services.
- Work closely with ICT, finance, legal, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for procurement initiatives.
- Communicate procurement strategies and policies to stakeholders at all levels.
- Act as a point of contact for procurement-related inquiries and issues.
- Facilitate internal and external audits of the procurement function and its activities, and lead the work to address findings as appropriate.
