About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement professional to join our team at Drax. As a key member of our Procurement function, you will play a critical role in driving procurement excellence and supporting our strategy to be a carbon negative company by 2030.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to maximise value and ensure the right level of governance is applied.
  • Provide day-to-day procurement guidance and advice to other team members.
  • Build meaningful and strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Work closely with the wider procurement team to ensure continuous improvement and best practice is shared throughout the team.
Requirements
  • Strong technical procurement skills linked with an ability to drive best practice.
  • Experience in creating and executing a successful category strategy for professional services in a complex, global, multisite organisation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to implement opportunities for innovation.
