Job Title: Director of Procurement and ICT Strategy

Ardagh Group is seeking a seasoned Director of Procurement and ICT Strategy to lead the transformation of its Information and Communication Technology (ICT) function. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing exemplar procurement strategies that align with the company's wider strategy and drive sustainable competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement global procurement strategies for ICT, aligned with the company's overall strategy and objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to ensure procurement activity is aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage supplier performance, conduct regular reviews, and negotiate contracts for ICT products and services.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and lead the procurement function's compliance efforts.
  • Lead and mentor a team of ICT procurement professionals, providing training and development opportunities.
  • Analyze spend data to identify cost reduction opportunities and mitigate risks associated with ICT procurement.
  • Ensure business continuity by securing critical ICT supplies and services, and work closely with ICT, finance, legal, and other departments to ensure alignment and support.
  • Communicate procurement strategies and policies to stakeholders at all levels, and act as a point of contact for procurement-related inquiries and issues.
