Learning Development Specialist

We are a leading professional services firm seeking a skilled Learning & Development Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop their career in Human Resources and make a real impact on learning and development initiatives.
This role will be responsible for creating best practices to support learning objectives and ensuring efficiencies. You will also be required to maintain the learning management system (LMS), deliver leading training programmes and develop internal and external client relationships.
Job Summary:
This is a hybrid working role, requiring 2 days at home and 3 days in the office per week. The contract type is 12-month fixed term, with potential for permanent position.
The estimated salary for this role is £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement best practices to support learning objectives and ensure efficiencies.
- Maintain and improve the learning management system (LMS).
- Design and deliver high-quality training programmes for internal and external clients.
- Support the development and delivery of local and global training programmes.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers for key training services and accommodation.
Requirements:
- GCSE Maths & English (C or above) and A' Level qualifications or equivalent.
- Degree in HR, Business Management, or Events Management discipline (desirable).
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role or in training course administration or events.
- Experience working in a Professional Services organisation.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with experience with SAP (desirable).
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with customer service focus.
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders and push back when necessary.
- Experience working with external suppliers (desirable).
- Experience working in a multi-location organisation and across cultures (desirable).
