Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant - SEMH Specialist to join our team and provide high-quality support to pupils with SEMH needs in our referral unit.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or LSA, with a strong understanding of SEMH needs and strategies for supporting students.
As a Learning Support Assistant - SEMH Specialist, you will work closely with the class teacher to develop and implement targeted support plans for pupils with SEMH needs, and provide individualized support to help students achieve their goals.

The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement targeted support plans for pupils with SEMH needs

- Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver lessons and manage student behavior
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and engagement
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or LSA
- Strong understanding of SEMH needs and strategies for supporting students
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
