About the Role

Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Lead to join their Business Intelligence Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing business intelligence reports to support the Trust's objectives and will work closely with the Digital Directorate to deliver the requirements of the role.

The Business Intelligence Lead will be responsible for improving and innovating reports to fully exploit data rich clinical systems and providing interpretive analytics and commentary. The post holder will lead some development of extracts, reports, dashboards and help end-users of the report to analyse and interpret the information.

The ideal candidate will have experience of statistical or analytical work in health or social care, taking responsibility for developing and delivering a wide range of analysis. They will also have experience of NHS acute Trust computer/information systems and be able to write detailed analytic queries in SQL.

The Business Intelligence Lead will be expected to provide leadership support to others, displaying good behaviours and coaching and expecting good practice from members of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide business intelligence reports to support the Trust's objectives
  • Improve and innovate reports to fully exploit data rich clinical systems
  • Lead some development of extracts, reports, dashboards and help end-users of the report to analyse and interpret the information
  • Provide leadership support to others, displaying good behaviours and coaching and expecting good practice from members of the team
Requirements
  • Experience of statistical or analytical work in health or social care
  • Experience of NHS acute Trust computer/information systems
  • Ability to write detailed analytic queries in SQL
  • Leadership skills and ability to provide coaching and mentoring to others
