Administrative Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the North of Tyne Bowel Cancer Screening administration team, working across both Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and The Newcastle Hospitals Trust. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a proven background in customer service and/or administration.
Knowledge of office equipment and systems is essential, in addition to the ability to prioritise own workload.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe post-holder will provide day-to-day co-ordination and administration for the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme services. This includes maintaining waiting lists, booking patient appointments, preparing medical records, and a full range of reception duties.
A key part of the role will be the use of a number of patient-related databases: ICARUS, PAS, Endoweb, E-Record, and the Bowel Cancer Screening System.
Support the Lead Administrator and the Programme Manager.
Key Skills and Qualifications- NVQ level 3/RSA2/OCR or equivalent acquired experience
- ECDL
- BCS Connecting for Health Course
- Knowledge and experience of using PAS/E-Record
- Use of ICARUS/Endosoft
