Job Summary
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support to our GPWSI service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incoming referrals, maintaining appointment rotas, and communicating with patients and healthcare professionals.
Main Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming referrals, ensuring timely and efficient communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain and manage appointment rotas, ensuring seamless scheduling and coordination.
- Communicate with patients via telephone, text, and letter, providing excellent customer service and support.
- Liaise with GP practices and healthcare professionals to ensure effective referral management and coordination.
- Monitor and maintain waiting lists for clinics, ensuring timely communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Submit monthly invoices and manage administrative tasks related to financial management.
- Workflow incoming mail and maintain the practice recall system, ensuring annual targets are met.
Person Specification
We are seeking an individual with:
GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths.Confident use of Microsoft systems, including Excel and Word.Desirable experience working in a GP surgery or medical environment, with SystmOne experience an advantage.What We Offer
