Job Title: Social Work Team Manager Safeguarding Team

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled Team Manager to join their Fostering Team in Medway. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of up to £46,549 per annum.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and professional support to colleagues and other professionals in complex situations.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of practice, theory, and legislation to enhance practice, procedures, and policies, promoting innovation and introducing new ways of working.
  • Model effective risk assessment and management in complex situations, including positive risk-taking scenarios.
  • Lead safeguarding initiatives in collaboration with senior team members.
  • Offer professional support, advice, and supervision to team members.
  • Monitor and support performance management and development of team members using a coaching approach.
  • Contribute to organisational change and development, addressing performance management issues.
  • Manage delegated budgets, funding, and resources in accordance with council policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
  • Continual professional development.
  • Social Work England registration.
