Job Description

Randstad Care is proud to be a partner with Cafcass, a leading organization in the field of child welfare. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Court Advisor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced social work-level services to children, families, and courts by assessing and analyzing court applications for child protection and serious welfare issues.
  • Influence those with parental responsibility to prioritize the child's needs and well-being.
  • Advise courts and local authorities on safeguarding concerns and provide recommendations for improving a child's life.
  • Support judicial case management and ensure the well-being and safety of the child are paramount throughout the case.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and services to achieve safe and positive outcomes for children.
  • Administer and comply with court orders, conduct necessary inquiries, and ensure the appointment of legal representation for the child as required.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation, court rules, policies, national directives, and best practices.
  • Work in partnership with other parties, agencies, and significant others to prioritize the child's needs and ensure their safety and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Social Work England registration
  • Social Work Qualification
  • At least 3 years of experience in Children's Social Services
