Job Title: Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) Social Worker

About the Role:
This challenging yet rewarding role requires a highly skilled and compassionate social worker to join the London Borough of Redbridge's team. The successful candidate will work closely with the community, families, and other stakeholders to ensure the well-being and safety of vulnerable children in need. With a focus on safeguarding and promoting their welfare, this role demands a high level of expertise and emotional intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Providing essential support and services to children in need, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  2. Analysing complex information and making informed recommendations on suitable services or support for individual children and their families.
  3. Knowledge of the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002, including immigration rules and Home Office guidance, is crucial for this role.
  4. Dealing with complex or unusual cases, assessing and managing risks appropriately to achieve the best possible outcomes for the children.

Requirements:
  1. Post-qualifying experience as an Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) Social Worker within the UK Social Care industry is required.
  2. A minimum of 2 years of post-qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry is necessary for this role.
  3. Enhanced DBS/CRB clearance is mandatory, which can be obtained through our organisation.
  4. Access to various Social Care jobs nationwide is available for the right candidate.
  5. DBS and Compliance Service are provided to ensure the smooth running of operations.
  6. A guaranteed weekly payment ensures financial stability for the successful candidate.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
