Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Child and Family Services Coordinator to join our team in Ilford. This is a full-time/contract position with a salary of £22 per hour, paid via an umbrella company.

In this role, you will work closely with the Families Together Team on the Homes for Ukraine project, providing support to families and ensuring an efficient and cost-effective service. You will collaborate with partner agencies within Children and Families to develop and implement family-centred plans, promoting positive outcomes for children and young people.

Key Duties:
  1. Assess family needs and develop personalized support plans, focusing on empowerment and self-sufficiency.
  2. Deliver outreach and home visits, providing emotional support and practical assistance to families in need.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate services, ensuring seamless transitions and effective support.
  4. Monitor and evaluate family progress, adjusting support plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Proven experience of working with vulnerable populations, including children and families.
  • Knowledge of child protection policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle, facilitating travel between locations.
