Funding and Administrative Assistant

University of Kent is seeking a Funding and Administrative Assistant to work closely with the finance team.

About the Position:

The Funding and Administrative Assistant will be responsible for monitoring GLL's funding procedures and processes to ensure compliance with University and external guidelines.

Main Tasks:

  • Working closely with the ILR & Funding Manager to ensure the Individual Learner Return is accurate and submitted in line with the Education and Skills Funding Agency's timetable.
  • Providing administrative support to the finance team in implementing procedures/new software.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial data.

Requirements:

  • GCSE English and Maths (grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
  • Substantial experience and understanding of spreadsheet and database use.
  • Previous experience in a similar funding/IT role.
