Conveyancing Department Coordinator

We are recruiting a highly motivated Conveyancing Department Coordinator to join our Chatham office.

This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, providing full administrative support to our clients.

About the Role
  • Coordinate administrative tasks, including audio and copy typing of correspondence, legal documents, and forms.
  • Manage telephone calls professionally, handling client enquiries with care and efficiency.
  • Support secretarial duties such as photocopying, updating client details, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Organise appointments and facilitate client interactions in person and over the phone.
  • Ensure all files and correspondence are accurately filed and kept up to date.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide administrative and telephone cover as required.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or Legal Secretary, ideally within a Conveyancing department.
  • Outstanding typing skills, with a fast and accurate approach to audio and copy typing.
  • Superior organisational skills, with the ability to handle a busy workload and meet tight deadlines.
  • Confident communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy in all work undertaken.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and general IT systems.
About Us

The estimated salary for this position is £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
