ILR and Funding Coordinator

The University of Kent is seeking an ILR and Funding Coordinator to join our finance team. In this role, you will provide operational management support to the ILR & Funding Manager, working closely with other finance staff to deliver all aspects of GLL's financial and Individual Learner requirements.

The successful candidate will have a strong administrative background and finance experience within a Higher Education environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that the Individual Learner Return is accurate and submitted in line with the Education and Skills Funding Agency's timetable.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing funding procedures and processes to ensure compliance with University and external guidelines.
  • Collaborating with the ILR & Funding Manager to implement efficient solutions.
  • GCSE English and Maths (grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
  • Substantial experience in using spreadsheets and databases, with a commitment to process improvement.
  • Previous experience in a similar funding/IT role, implementing procedures/new software and answering related queries.
