The administrative team support functions including NHS Continuing Healthcare (adults and children), Mental Health, Learning Disability and Children’s specialist placements. The administrative team supports the Nursing Team working across these areas.

You will work as part of a dynamic team delivering an effective All Age Continuing Care and Specialist Placements service. You will support the team function as a whole through undertaking a wide range of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the business and delivery of the team’s objectives.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities May Include**:
Ensure that Service providers follow agreed invoice and notification processes.

Provide the administration function for the Continuing Healthcare and Funded Nursing Care Team.

Process and validate NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and Funded Nursing Care (FNC) invoices, ensuring that invoices align to the contract or agreements made by the Placements Team and working with providers to reconcile any differences between expected and received invoice amounts.

Raise credit notes as required for the purchase of goods and services.

To undertake tasks as outlined by the Director - Integrated Commissioning and Clinical Assessment and the senior management team.

Answer telephone calls, taking messages and passing on accurately to the relevant departments/person.

Able to work on own initiative and unsupervised, within defined policies and procedures to set timescales.

Have a flexible/adaptable approach to their work in order to meet various deadlines.

Inputting into, monitoring and printing reports from computerised systems.

Deal sensitively with enquiries from patients and/or their relatives.

To carry out other appropriate delegated duties as required.
