Job Description: Accounts Payable Coordinator

About the Job:

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance and experience in handling day-to-day operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Process invoices and payments through the system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Manage payment runs through Sage and the bank, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
  3. Handle ad hoc payment requests, responding promptly to stakeholder inquiries.
  4. Reconcile monthly credit card statements, resolving any discrepancies that may arise.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to resolve supplier queries and discrepancies, delivering exceptional customer service.
  6. Enter bank payments and interest charges into Sage, maintaining accurate financial records.

Requirements:

  • Purchase ledger experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
