Internal Account Manager

Kettering/Hybrid, Permanent, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

£28,000+ plus bonus (paid quarterly)

We are seeking an experienced Internal Account Manager to coordinate customer orders and provide sales support within a manufacturing or similar environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Support external Account Managers and manage clients' orders
  2. Respond to customer queries including delivery discrepancies, invoice queries, and credit requests
  3. Process customer quotations and sales orders accurately and efficiently
  4. Assist with the follow-up of any enquiries and quotes
  5. Process customer sample requests, deliveries, collections, and capture feedback on the outcome of enquiries
  6. Schedule and plan orders, and review and understand customer forecast data
  7. Monitor and report sales trends, including customer reporting
  8. Work closely with purchasing to ensure stock availability
  9. Liaise with supply chain, supplier, and logistics
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in sales coordination/account management, preferably within a B2B environment
  2. Strong customer care skills
  3. Good organisational skills
  4. Accuracy and attention to detail
  5. Strong IT proficiency
