Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pharmacy Training Coordinator to join our team at Care New England Health System. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy training and operations, with the ability to provide leadership and guidance to new technicians and students.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive training to new pharmacy technicians and students, ensuring they meet all required competencies and standards.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure URAC and ACHC compliance.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to resolve medication-related issues and improve patient outcomes.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of training sessions, including completion certificates and feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in pharmacy regulations and standards, and implement necessary updates to training programs.

Requirements:

  • RHODE ISLAND BOARD OF PHARMACY TECHNICIAN REGISTRATION
  • NATIONAL CERTIFICATION AS CPHT
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
