As a key member of the Department of Pharmacy, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.

Job Summary:

  • Assist the Director in managing medication orders, maintaining software skills, and documenting medication compliance.
  • Collaborate with trial coordinators to develop and implement protocols for clinical investigational drug trials.
  • Train and educate staff on pharmacy policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and transcribe medication orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain software skills in pharmacy computer software, hospital computer software, and electronic medication distribution systems.
  • Document medication compliance for inpatient or outpatient services.

Education and Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy.
  • Registered or eligible for registration in the State of Rhode Island.
  • Special Qualifications: Board Certification in Psychopharmacology is encouraged.

Salary: $125,000 - $155,000 per year, depending on experience.
