Regional Business Development Lead

We are seeking an experienced sales leader to drive business growth and develop strategic partnerships within a defined geographical area. As Regional Business Development Lead, you will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and supporting existing partners to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a regional business development strategy, leveraging data and market trends to inform strategic decisions and refine sales tactics.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing support for partners, driving consistent growth in partner engagement and sales performance.
  • Establish Paymentshield as the preferred provider within your territory, achieving and exceeding new business acquisition and retention targets.

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, plus bonus scheme and benefits package.

About the Role:

We are looking for a sales professional with a strong track record in B2B sales and business development, who is passionate about building relationships and achieving results. You will have excellent presentation and communication skills, with ability to create and execute effective business plans.

  • Essential Skills and Experience:
    • Proven track record in B2B sales and business development, with a strong understanding of the UK insurance industry or financial services market.
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both face-to-face and via telephone, with ability to create and execute effective business plans.
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a team, with comfort level for travel within the designated area, including occasional overnight stays.
  • Desirable Skills:
    • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards in the sector, with strong commercial awareness and organizational skills.
