Job Description

GerrardWhite is seeking a highly skilled Regional Facilities Manager to join our team. As a Regional Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the management of services and processes that support our property management strategy, along with the day-to-day handling of the maintenance and upkeep of our existing portfolio of properties, both commercial and residential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Management: Manage relationships with regional contractors/internal maintenance team for both planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks from the initial tendering process and contracting, to ongoing performance management and benchmarking.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor and ensure regional compliance with statutory safety regulations.
  • Property Inspections: Carry out regular, thorough property inspections to monitor the condition and upkeep of our existing portfolio.
  • Budget Management: Control regional maintenance costs and budget planning relating to your allocated portfolio of properties.
  • Team Management: Manage a small team in terms of holiday, sickness, performance and payroll as well as overseeing of wider departments in coordination with the management team.
Requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is required for this role.
  • Previous Experience: Previous project management or property management experience is essential.
  • Negotiation and Communication Skills: A professional and refined negotiator with sound commercial acumen and judgment, and an excellent communicator who can communicate confidently with people at all levels of the business.
  • Technical Skills: PC literate with strong Microsoft Office skills.

  • Salary: Salary of £35,000-£40,000 * Experience dependent.
