Job Description

**Regional Facilities Manager**

Vermelo RPO is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Facilities Manager to join our team. As a Regional Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the management of services and processes that support our property management strategy, as well as the day-to-day handling of the maintenance and upkeep of our existing portfolio of properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Property Management: Ensure the company strategy is executed through effective property maintenance, internal governance, and adherence to legislation at all times.
  • Contractor and Maintenance Team Management: Manage relationships with regional contractors and internal maintenance teams for both planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks, from initial tendering to ongoing performance management and benchmarking.
  • Tenant Liaison: Liaise regularly with tenants to ensure any issues raised are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Manage repairs and ordering systems, following our operating and finance procedures.
  • Compliance and Safety: Monitor and ensure regional compliance with statutory safety regulations.
  • Property Inspections: Carry out regular, thorough property inspections to monitor the condition and upkeep of our existing portfolio.
  • Maintenance Reporting: Manage maintenance reporting, as well as ordering and invoicing procedures.
  • Budget Planning: Control regional maintenance costs and budget planning relating to your allocated portfolio of properties.
  • Team Management: Manage a small team in terms of holiday, sickness, performance, and payroll, as well as overseeing wider departments in coordination with the management team.
Requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Previous Project Management or Property Management Experience
  • Professional and Refined Negotiator with sound commercial acumen and judgment.
  • Motivated and Results-Driven
  • Highly Organized with a pragmatic and analytical approach and an eye for detail.
  • Team Player who is capable of performing tasks independently and to their own initiative.
  • Strong Multi-Tasker with the ability to prioritize conflicting deadlines.
  • Excellent Communicator who can communicate confidently with people at all levels of the business.
  • Experience in Leading and Managing a Team
  • PC Literate with Strong Microsoft Office Skills

  • Salary of £35,000-£40,000 (dependent on experience)
