HR Wellbeing and Absence Improvement Lead

The successful candidate will work as a Senior HR Advisor, leading a 1-year project to support the organisation with sustainable improvements in absence and wellbeing. This will involve developing and maintaining good partnerships with managers and project stakeholders, developing plans, and driving HR best practice for a preventative approach to absence and wellbeing.
The role requires a deep dive and analysis of data to understand trends, themes, priorities, and to assess the impact of interventions implemented. Collaborative working with Organisational Development to develop tools, coach, and develop manager skills around proactively supporting staff wellbeing (Wellbeing Fundamentals) and the effective management of absence, aligned to best practice.
A comprehensive knowledge of employment law, professional workforce developments, and best practice is essential, along with the ability to draw upon professional knowledge to analyse workforce cases and provide appropriate advice balancing individual and organisational needs and risks.
