Practice Plus Group Shepton Mallet is seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join its team as a Ward Health Care Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for you to utilize your skills and experience to provide support to the nursing staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to patients in a safe and caring environment.

About the Role

Your key responsibilities will include welcoming/greeting patients to the ward area, answering telephone calls, recording and delivering messages accurately, assisting with the ordering and monitoring of stores and stock rotation, and supporting other team members. You will also have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills through training and education programs.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of healthcare principles and practices. You should also be willing to adapt to an internal rotating shift pattern and commit to ongoing training and professional development.
