We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Practice Plus Group Shepton Mallet. As a Ward Health Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support to the nursing staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to patients in a safe and caring environment.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for you to utilize your skills and experience to make a real difference in the lives of others. Your key responsibilities will include welcoming/greeting patients to the ward area, answering telephone calls, recording and delivering messages accurately, assisting with the ordering and monitoring of stores and stock rotation, and supporting other team members.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of healthcare principles and practices. You should also be willing to undertake training to gain further clinical skills and adapt to an internal rotating shift pattern.
