NHSScotland seeks to appoint a self-motivated Clinician with an enthusiasm for General Adult Community Psychiatry in our team of Psychiatrists in NHS Highland. This post offers an opportunity to provide psychiatric services to a population spread across remote and rural communities in the far north of Scotland.

The successful candidate will be encouraged to become an integral part of local community health teams, Primary care, and Rural General Hospital – Caithness General Hospital. There will be opportunities for special interest, service development, and teaching/training of students and trainees. The capacity to deliver services using digital technology is well developed, opening up further opportunities.

This post requires participation in the Consultant on-call rota at New Craigs Hospital. The estimated salary for this position is £120,000 - £170,000 per annum, depending on experience.
