We are seeking a skilled clinician to join our team of Psychiatrists in NHS Highland.

This post offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated doctor who enjoys teamwork to provide medical assessment, care, and treatment to those with moderate to severe mental disorder. The post is an integral part of the NABS Community Mental Health team and is well supported by the wider CMHT, Primary care, and Third Sector care providers.

The successful candidate will work alongside a Consultant Psychiatrist and have the opportunity to develop their skills and interests in General Adult Community Psychiatry.

The use of digital technology may open up further opportunities for professional development and flexibility in this role. Time will be spent working at New Craigs Hospital, Inverness or NABS CMHT.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical assessment, care, and treatment to patients with moderate to severe mental disorders
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and maintain skills and knowledge in General Adult Community Psychiatry
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve excellent patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Qualified medical doctor with experience in psychiatry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
Salary:

£60,000 - £85,000 per annum (pro rata)
