Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Administrative Support Professional to join our team in Hemel Hempstead. As a key member of our Adult Care Services, you will provide vital business and administrative support to our teams.

About the Role

This is a full-time, 3-month contract position working Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional support to Senior Officers on confidential matters, answering phone calls, and serving as the first point of contact.

Main Responsibilities
  • Utilise Microsoft Office software packages for document preparation and management.
  • Update and manage computer databases, spreadsheets, and reports.
  • Provide administrative support, including note-taking, filing, faxing, scanning, and photocopying.
  • Manage general duties, including cash handling, correspondence, invoices, and timesheets.
  • Coordinate team commitments, schedule meetings, arrange training courses, and book venues.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in service delivery or a business-related qualification is beneficial.
  • You must have efficient administration skills, excellent communication skills, and customer care expertise.
  • You should be self-motivated, approachable, and willing to undertake various administrative tasks while adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £12.65 per hour. This is a competitive rate for the role, taking into account the location and responsibilities involved.
