We are seeking a compassionate and experienced individual to join our team as a Patient Transport Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and respectful transportation of patients.

About the Role:
  • To transport patients safely and efficiently, using appropriate techniques and equipment.
  • To maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • To provide high-quality patient care, responding to their physical and emotional needs.
  • To remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with confidence and professionalism.

As a Patient Transport Support Worker, you will be responsible for transporting patients safely and efficiently, while also maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with colleagues and management. You will work closely with our team to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care and respect.

Requirements:
  • A valid Full UK Manual Driving License with at least 12 months' driving experience.
  • Maintain Enhanced DBS certification.
  • Excellent communication skills, including IT ability.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Working Conditions:
  • Full-time contract, 40.3 hours per week, worked on a 4 on 4 off rolling shift pattern, alternating between days and nights.
  • Blended rate of £12.37p/h for Day, Night, and Weekend Shifts. Additional pay for work at a Mental Health 'place of safety' and for bed watch activities.

The estimated salary for this role is £25,060 - £29,455 per annum, paid at a blended rate of £12.37p/h.
