Job Title: Transport and Care Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate individual to join our team as a Transport and Care Coordinator.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in the mental health sector, providing safe and respectful transportation for patients. As a Transport and Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and dignity of those in our care.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will transport patients safely and efficiently, using appropriate techniques and equipment.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with colleagues and management.

As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, responding to their physical and emotional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with confidence and professionalism.
Requirements:
  • A valid Full UK Manual Driving License with at least 12 months' driving experience.
  • Maintain Enhanced DBS certification.
  • Excellent communication skills, including IT ability.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Working Conditions:
  • Full-time contract, 40.3 hours per week, worked on a 4 on 4 off rolling shift pattern, alternating between days and nights.
  • Blended rate of £12.37p/h for Day, Night, and Weekend Shifts. Additional pay for work at a Mental Health 'place of safety' and for bed watch activities.
Salary:

£25,060.00 - £29,455.00 per annum (dependent on experience), paid at a blended rate of £12.37p/h.
