Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Transport Assistant to join our team. As a Mental Health Transport Support Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and respectful transportation of patients with mental health needs.

Salary & Benefits

The salary for this position is £26,593.80 per annum, based on a 40.3 hour week. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including full training, support and mentoring, continual professional development (CPD), and awards for employee performance.

Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Transport Support Professional, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing safe and respectful transportation of patients with mental health needs
  • Maintaining patient care standards and following all relevant policies and procedures
  • Working effectively as part of a team to deliver exceptional quality care to patients
  • Developing strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid full UK manual driving license with minimum 12 months' driving experience
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • Excellent communication skills, including IT ability
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while delivering genuine care
  • Demonstrate resilience and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
