Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Transport Assistant - Mental Health Care to join our secure patient transport service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting patients with mental health needs between healthcare facilities.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Transporting patients between healthcare facilities
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Providing emotional support and reassurance to patients during transportation

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. A valid full UK manual driving license and Enhanced DBS certification are essential requirements.

Salary: £12.37 per hour (day, night, and weekend shifts)

Annual Remuneration: £26,593.80
