We are seeking a skilled HR Payroll Coordinator to join our team at Pontoon Solutions. As an HR Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing, while also maintaining compliance with statutory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a payroll department and proficiency with ADP GlobalView. They should also have a strong understanding of HMRC requirements, including RTI, FPS, EPS, Tax, and NI. Additionally, they should possess advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel and Outlook.
The successful candidate will have a BTEC or recognized qualification in Payroll Administration and exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. The salary for this position is approximately £30,000 per annum.
This role involves:
- Managing statutory payroll compliance, including calculating and processing statutory payments and deductions.
- Preparing and maintaining schedules for maternity and other statutory payments.
- Processing documentation for starters, leavers, overtime, court orders, and other deductions, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Collaborating with the Payroll Advisor to address inconsistencies or errors.
- Reviewing and managing sickness and holiday reports for submission to the payroll provider.
- Ensuring strong control frameworks are adhered to and all amendments are submitted on time.
- Providing responsive, confidential support to employees regarding payroll inquiries.
- Administering and reconciling monthly pensions and managing tax year-end processes, including P60 and P11D documentation.
