Job Title

We are seeking a Wildlife Habitat Manager to join our ecology team based in Birmingham.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting and leading ecological surveys, managing client relationships, and producing high-quality documentation.

About the Role:

  • You will work on a variety of projects that focus on creating sustainable, biodiverse environments.
  • This role involves a mix of fieldwork and office-based tasks, including survey leadership and report writing.
  • You'll collaborate with other teams to deliver outstanding project outcomes.

A competitive salary in the range of £35,000–£42,000 (to be confirmed at the interview stage) is offered, along with the chance to work on diverse, high-profile projects that contribute to environmental sustainability. Our client is a leading landscape design and environmental consultancy known for its commitment to delivering exceptional ecological and environmental solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Protected species expertise: At least one protected species license is a must (preferably for bats, GCN, or dormice).
  • Fieldwork experience: Proven ability to conduct and lead ecological surveys with confidence.
  • Technical skills: Strong report-writing abilities, producing clear, high-quality documentation for clients and stakeholders.
