This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead our Habitats department, which is responsible for on-the-ground works such as habitat creation, translocation, and management, as well as protected species mitigation and enhancements. As Associate Director of Habitats, you will provide strategic guidance to drive the team's success and ensure high-quality service delivery to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide strategic leadership to guide the team towards achieving departmental objectives.
  2. Represent Thomson externally, building relationships with clients and stakeholders to secure new business opportunities and enhance the company's reputation.
  3. Ensure excellent project delivery, client satisfaction, and team capability while managing financial performance.

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including 25 days annual leave, healthcare cash plan, and stakeholder pension scheme.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading teams, ensuring effective distribution of work and safe delivery.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and grow market presence.
  • Strategic vision and ability to set departmental goals and budgets, then lead the team to achieve them.
  • Expert technical advice and complex project leadership.
  • Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects experience is desirable.
