We are recruiting an Ecologist to join our client's team at Joshua Robert Recruitment.
About the Position:
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting ecological surveys, assessments, and habitat management plans. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support environmental projects, including conservation, development, and infrastructure.
Key Duties:
- Conduct field surveys, including Phase 1 habitat surveys and protected species surveys.
- Prepare ecological reports, EIAs, and mitigation plans.
- Provide expert advice on ecological constraints and opportunities.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Experience conducting ecological surveys and assessments.
- Knowledge of UK and international wildlife legislation and guidelines.
- Experience in protected species survey techniques.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
