Ecologist Job Opportunity

We are recruiting an Ecologist to join our client's team at Joshua Robert Recruitment.

About the Position:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting ecological surveys, assessments, and habitat management plans. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support environmental projects, including conservation, development, and infrastructure.

Key Duties:

  • Conduct field surveys, including Phase 1 habitat surveys and protected species surveys.
  • Prepare ecological reports, EIAs, and mitigation plans.
  • Provide expert advice on ecological constraints and opportunities.
  • Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience conducting ecological surveys and assessments.
  • Knowledge of UK and international wildlife legislation and guidelines.
  • Experience in protected species survey techniques.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
