Development and Fundraising Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Development and Fundraising Specialist to join our team at Scottish Opera. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing fundraising strategies that meet our targets.

Key responsibilities include researching and identifying new funding opportunities, writing grant applications, and building relationships with donors and sponsors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fundraising, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including flexible working hours, employer pension contribution, and access to professional development opportunities.

Location: Elmbank Crescent, Glasgow and occasional travel to other locations across Scotland
Hours: 35 hours per week, 9.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
