Probation Officer Role

About the Job:
In this rewarding role as a Probation Officer Role with Service Care Solutions, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals on probation. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with offenders and external agencies to deliver effective risk management plans and provide support where needed.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse groups and individuals, be able to motivate and change behaviour, and possess excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the delivery of risk management plans and report significant changes.
• Use computer-based systems to produce, update and maintain records and documentation.
• Ensure effective referrals to services and communicate with offender management staff and external agencies.
• Undertake visits to prisons, homes or alternate locations as required.
• Work in the court setting, including completion of reports on cases and prosecution of breaches.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience of working with diverse groups and individuals to motivate and change behaviour.
• Experience of making effective referrals to and managing relationships between external agencies.
• Understanding of and commitment to equal opportunities and diversity good practice.
