Community Outreach Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Coordinator to join our team at the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. The Event Coordinator will play a crucial role in planning and executing Steubenville Rochester, a significant event in our diocese.
Main Responsibilities:
- Event Planning: Develop and implement plans for Steubenville Rochester, including hospitality, logistics, catering, environment, and other support systems.
- Volunteer Engagement: Recruit and engage volunteers, training them to serve in various areas of the conference, and ensuring they receive and understand their job descriptions.
- Financial Management: Manage finances within budget, working closely with the ED to execute the event successfully.
- Marketing: Work with Partnership for Youth to promote Steubenville Rochester through news releases, bulletin announcements, and articles for Diocesan, local, state, and national news.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to travel limited, preferably within the Rochester area
Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
