We are seeking an experienced Sign Language Communication Specialist to join our team in Rochester. As a Sign Language Communication Specialist, you will work on the community overnight shift, ensuring seamless communication between Deaf and hearing individuals.

 

**Estimated Salary:** $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience

 

Responsibilities:

  • Effective interpretation between ASL and spoken English
  • Adhere to Sorenson policies and procedures, as well as the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct
  • Exhibit excellent internal and external customer service skills
  • Maintain flexibility to meet various interpreting needs in the community setting

 

Requirements:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Ability to travel independently in the metropolitan area
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicular insurance at the minimum state required level
