We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Caring Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This challenging role involves managing a caseload of looked after children, conducting focused assessments, and developing SMART care plans to ensure positive outcomes. You will work closely with children and families in diverse contexts, utilising strengths-based practice and the Signs of Safety practice model.

The ideal candidate will have a Social Work Qualification or equivalent and be able to demonstrate good practice that reflects a commitment to relationship and strengths-based practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload within a framework of reflective supervision.
  • Demonstrate and model good practice that reflects relationship and strengths-based approaches.
  • Work directly with children and young people to establish their experiences, wishes, and feelings.
  • Apply the Signs of Safety practice model in assessments and interventions.
  • Engage in life-story work with all Looked After Children.
  • Participate in regular reflective supervision and Performance Development Reviews.
What We Offer

A competitive salary of £35,000 - £42,000 per annum is available for this role, making it an attractive opportunity for experienced professionals.
