Business Development Opportunity

Fairford Associates seeks a skilled Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding its presence in the manned guarding sector.

About the Job

This strategic position involves identifying fresh business prospects, nurturing client relationships, and securing lucrative contracts. A deep understanding of the manned guarding industry and exceptional sales capabilities are essential requirements.

Key Tasks
  1. Develop effective strategies to capture new business opportunities and convert them into contracts
  2. Nurture long-term partnerships with existing and potential clients
  3. Leverage expertise in the sales cycle to propel leads towards successful outcomes
  4. Partner with the sales team to achieve shared business objectives
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  1. Demonstrated experience in the manned guarding industry, preferably in a comparable role or with at least two years of sales experience
  2. Thorough understanding of the entire sales process, from initial prospecting to contract closure
  3. Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
  4. Able to relocate to a location conveniently accessible by public transportation
Compensation and Benefits
  1. Annual salary: Approximately £40,000, inclusive of performance-related bonuses
  2. Comprehensive benefits package, including a company vehicle or allowance
  3. Provision of a work phone and laptop
  4. Ongoing commission structure: 1% base, 1% for meeting targets, and 2% for exceeding targets
  5. Generous holiday entitlement, encompassing 22 days plus Bank Holidays
  6. Access to a NEST pension scheme, with upgrade options available
