Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Company Overview: Discovery is a leading distributor serving the industrial and process sectors. With over 180,000 products, including many European brands, Discovery is a major player in the UK and Ireland.

Job Summary: We are seeking an inquisitive and driven individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to develop and grow within a friendly and team-oriented business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Answering Inbound Calls and Emails: Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sales Order Processing: Process sales orders and ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Resolving Pre/Post Sales Enquiries/Complaints: Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues in a fair and efficient manner.
  • Liasing with Third-Party Courier Companies: Coordinate with courier companies to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Collaborating with Other Departments: Work with other departments to provide solutions and answers for customers.

Requirements:

  • Strong Communication and People Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Confident Telephone Manner: Confident and professional telephone manner to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Self-Motivated with Good Time Management and Organisational Skills: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Efficient, Accurate, and Timely in All Aspects of Daily Tasks: Ability to work efficiently and accurately in all aspects of the job.
