Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Early Intervention Coordinator to join our dedicated Early Help Team. As a key member of this team, you will be part of a fast-paced, busy, and supportive environment that assesses and works with Children and Families at the earliest stage.

This role is ideal for individuals who have experience working in social services and possess excellent assessment and decision-making skills. You will work in accordance with social care legislation and local government requirements, informed by the values and principles of social care.

You will support the delivery of person-centered, safe, and effective social care services, making assessments and decisions about the most appropriate interventions. Using your professional knowledge and experience, you will establish and maintain relationships with service users and other agencies to ensure services meet identified needs.

Your commitment to ensuring positive and sustainable results of your interventions is essential, as is your passion for supporting children and their families to thrive and flourish. Our priority is to protect the most vulnerable and be as efficient as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Children and Families at risk
  • Making assessments and decisions about interventions
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with service users and agencies
  • Ensuring services meet identified needs

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
  • SW, CSS, DipSW, or Social Work Degree
  • Experience working in a Social Services Directorate or Statutory/Voluntary Agency
  • Excellent mediation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary, interagency basis
  • Knowledge of legislation relating to general social work practice
