About the Role

As a Consultant Psychiatrist at the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, you will play a key role in providing high-quality mental health services to our patients. The acute inpatient service is supported by a Consultant Psychiatrist post and a specialty doctor post, and you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care.

You will be responsible for supervising junior medical staff, teaching and presenting to colleagues, and contributing to the overall leadership of the service. We require a candidate with a clear understanding of Clinical Governance, a commitment to open review of practice, and the ability to drive forward quality improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background, with experience in relevant clinical areas and evidence of knowledge in diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex mental illness. They will also possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
