Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our team, working at the new Health Hub in King's Lynn. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for managing patient flow, handling telephone calls, and providing administrative support to our healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Management: Greet patients, answer queries, and direct them to the relevant service or healthcare professional.
- Administrative Support: Manage appointments, handle correspondence, and maintain accurate records.
- Telphone Communication: Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to patient inquiries.
- Clinical Tasks: Enter patient information onto our clinical system, process repeat prescriptions, and perform other tasks as required by our healthcare professionals.
- Safety and Security: Adhere to our health and safety policies, report any potential risks, and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Quality and Performance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, reflect on your performance, and make suggestions for improvement.
Person Specification:
- Qualifications: 3 GCSEs grade A-C, one of which must be English.
- Experience: Desirable experience of working in a GP Practice or receptionist role.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of £19,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.
