Support Worker Lead Role

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to lead our team in providing daily care and support to individuals with autism and learning disabilities.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will have experience working with individuals with autism and learning disabilities, providing daily care and support in a residential setting.
  • They will be responsible for building strong relationships with service users, understanding their needs, and empowering them to live independently.
  • The role involves contributing to creating a positive and supportive living environment, promoting social engagement through activities such as holidays, social events, and hobbies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Care & Support:
    • Assisting with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks.
  • Building Relationships:
    • Fostering strong bonds with service users, understanding their needs, and helping them achieve their goals.
  • Social Engagement:
    • Organizing activities that promote social interaction, leisure, and enjoyment.

Requirements:

  • A valid full UK manual driving license is required.
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Salary and Benefits:

£23,400 per annum, plus benefits, including paid induction, additional £1,200 per year based on 2 waking nights per month, overtime paid over 37 hours Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis.
