Job Description: HR Manager in Manufacturing Industry

Location: Newtown, Powys
Salary Range: £35,000 - £45,000 per year, dependent on experience
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

A well-established company in the manufacturing sector is looking for a skilled HR Manager to lead HR operations across multiple sites in the Newtown area.

  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and be able to drive HR functions forward, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • They will work closely with site leadership teams to provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices.
  • Recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives will be overseen to ensure a skilled workforce is maintained.
  • Training programs will be developed to support staff development and enhance productivity.
  • Employee attendance, health and safety compliance, and well-being initiatives will be monitored and managed in line with manufacturing regulations.
  • HR metrics will be used to track trends, identify areas for improvement, and support continuous operational enhancement.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and best practices in employee relations and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification is preferred.
